Everton FC Wiki

Everton FC was founded in 1878 in Liverpool as St. Domingo's FC. It was a way for the people from St. Domingo's Methodist Church in Everton to have a sport to play at in non-summer seasons. The following year it was renamed Everton because people outside the area wanted to participate. They won their first FA Cup win in 1906.

This team competes in the Premier League, the highest level of competition in English football. They've competed in the top division for 108 seasons and played more top league games than any other team.

Everton has won the League Championship 9 times, the fourth highest of any team. They’ve been Second Division Champions once, won the FA Cup 5 times, the FA Charity Shield 9 times and the Lancashire Senior Cup 6 times. Everton has won the Liverpool Senior Cup 45 times, the European Cup Winners' Cup once and in 1985 were named the World Soccer Magazine World Team of the Year.

Originally the colors were blue and white stripes but today the colors are royal blue shirts, white shorts and white socks. David Moyes is the current manager.
