Lazio (Societ� Sportiva Lazio) is an Italian football club from Rome. Founded in 1900, they have played in the Serie A and have always enjoyed the top ranks of Italian football. Their first major win was in 1958 when they won the league cup. Their victories include being the Italian champions twice, winning Coppa Italia twice, Supercoppa Italiana thrice, and both the UEFA Cup Winner�s Cup and UEFA Super Cup at the same time. The team is now riding in their period of success since the past fifteen years.

Lazio�s home colours are sky blue and white, inspired by the national emblem of Greece, and they wear this with pride while playing in their home stadium, Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Their long time rivals A.S. Roma also hail from the same place, contesting with them in the �Derby of the Capital� since 1929.

Currently managed by Eduardo Reja, the team is formed my many talented players, including Tommaso Rochhi, their top scorer. Other eminent players of this club include Giuseppe Favalli, who holds the longest appearance record, being a part of the club for 16 years till 2004.
