A.C. Milan (Associazione Calcio Milan) is a professional football team from Milan, Lombardy. Formed in 1899 by Englishmen Herbert Kilpin and Alfred Edwards, this club has spent most of its past years battling it out in Serie A. They have won eighteen UEFA and FIFA international titles, being tied with Boca Juniors for acquiring the most such titles in the world. Milan has also won four world titles, more than any other club.

Milan has always stuck to the colours of red and black. The red represents the players' fiery passion and the black represents the fear they instil in their opponents. They were these in the form of striped shirts when playing in their home stadium, the San Siro, which is also the home stadium for Internazionale. Their shirts have also gotten them the nickname rossoneri.

Currently managed by Silvio Berlusconi, Milan's main rivalry is with fellow neighbours, Internazionale. They battle it out in the much awaited Derby della Madonnina twice every Serie A season. Apart from them, they are deeply hated by Genoa fans, after a Genoa fan was tragically killed by a Milan supporter in 1995.
