Olympique Lyon Wiki
AS Lyon Duchère (L'Association Sportive Lyon la Duchère) is a French association football team that is based in Lyon, France. They were formed in 1964. Currently, they play in the Championnat de France Amateurs Group B, which is the forth division in the hierarchy of the French football system.
This club has not made much of a stir in their years in the field. Being relatively small, they have mostly competed on the amateur level. However, they have also shown themselves to be resourceful on some occasions. In 2006, they managed to reach the sixteenth round of the Coupe de France, beating out two Ligue 1 clubs in the process. They have also reached the thirty second round of Coupe de France on three occasions, in 1995, 2007 and 2008.
Currently managed by Karim Bounouara, the colour of choice for this club is red and yellow, and they wear it with pride when they play their home games at Stade de Balmont, in their hometown of Lyon. Their crest show the same colours, along with a lion.
