Nice Wiki
OGC Nice (Olympique Gymnaste Club Nice Côte d'Azur) is a French football club based in Nice. The club currently takes part in the top division of French football, the Ligue 1. They were formed in 1904, and were one of the founding members of the first division of French football. They are one of the few clubs who played in the first match of the league in 1932-33 and are still performing in the same league today. Nice has won the Ligue 1 four times and the Coupe de France three times, the last being in 1997.
The colours of the team are red and black. Their home games are played at Stade Municipal du Ray, in the city of Nice. In the years to follow they plan to shift this location to a new stadium to be named Gand Stade Nice. The club is managed by former player Éric Roy.
During their success in the 1950s, Nice was one of the clubs to incorporate international players into the team. Some of them include Argentine's Hector De Bourgoing and Spain’s Joaquin Valle. This was a wise move on their part, as Valle went on to become the club's most integral goalscorer and is now considered their finest players of all time.
