Brest Wiki
Brest (Stade Brestois 29) is a professional Frnch football club based in Brest. The club was formed in 1903, and given the name Armoricaine de Brest at the time. They changed it to their current name in 1950. This club currently participated in the Ligue 1, the highest division of French football. They were promoted to this league in 2010-11. Not much can be said about the history of this club. In the past eleven years, they have participated in the Championnat de France amateur, which is the forth division of French football. After this, they moved up to the Championnat National, the third tier of French football, where they battled it out for a couple of years before reaching Ligue 2, the second tier. So, they have slowly and diligently worked their way up.
The home colours of the team are red, black and white. These correspond to their crest, which also has the initials of the club. Their home games are played at Stade Francis le Blé. The club is currently managed by Alex Dupont, who previously played as a midfielder for Dunkerque and Hazebrouck.
